  1. 0.2.40
    Latest

Stickies, colours, and Boards for your AI

    Board

    • Sticky notes with one body of text. Leave one empty and it stays so you can fill it later.
    • Named colours for cards, labels and arrows — yellow, green, blue, violet, pink, orange, gray.
    • Find on the Board with ⌘F. Step through matches without leaving the canvas.

    Your AI

    • add_to_board takes a theme and clusters of stickies, notes, links, snippets and images. Edges show up as arrows. Up to 12 items per call.
    • search_board finds what is already on your Board before your AI adds more.

    • Updates open more reliably when an old updater journal is left behind.
  2. 0.2.39

A blank page that helps you start

    • An empty document shows your templates as chips under the title, plus a few starters.
    • Browse templates opens right there with a preview. Click to fill this document.
    • Folders and Recent fold from their headings. License and updates follows the app theme.
  3. 0.2.36

    A lighter Collie

    • A simpler engine underneath and a smaller download.
    • Fixes for dialogs and Settings.
  4. 0.2.33

    Bring your own AI

    • Bring your own AI. A built-in MCP your agents can use to gather research, build your Board and proofread your work. It's off until you turn it on.
    • Smoother settings.
    • Small fixes.
  5. 0.2.31

A lighter Collie that starts quicker

    • Collie runs on a lighter engine, so it opens quicker.
    • Board links show Open reader only when Collie has saved the page. The reader opens that saved copy, even offline.
    • Links Collie can't read open straight in your browser. No more "could not load page".
    • Every document, folder and Board card comes along when you update.

Boards got a lot of love

    Board

    • Give the Board the whole window with one click, and it glides back when you're done.
    • Zoom in and out, fit everything on screen, and find your way with the new minimap.
    • Tidy up with one click on the magic wand. Cards line up in a neat grid.
    • Drag images, links and text straight in from Chrome or Finder.
    • Links turn into cards with a title, picture and summary. Open them in a calm reader beside your draft.
    • Snippets keep just the bit you need and read like quotes.
    • Drag a card into your draft and drop it anywhere on the page.
    • Big boards stay fast, even with thousands of cards.

    Writing

    • Collie opens about twice as fast with a big library.
    • Search finds words anywhere in a document.
    • On long documents the outline no longer slips under the bottom bar.
    • Collie sits nicely side by side with another app. In a narrow window the sidebar folds away.
    • The app is slimmer and more private.
  7. 0.2.29

    Small fixes

    • Compare fits better in narrow windows.
  8. 0.2.28

    Straight to your writing

    • After you enter your license, Collie opens right to a document. No setup screens.
    • History and Compare are easier to read, with a version picker and plain summaries of what changed.
    • Pick your page margins and text size from the new Aa menu.
    • The outline moved into the left margin.
    • One quiet settings button. License and updates opens in its own window.
    • You can open Collie straight from the download, even before you move it to Applications.
    • Send feedback now comes straight to me.
